History: While visiting the Statue of Liberty reporter
Joan Dale voiced aloud her thought about how much good could be
done if a person had the powers of the Statue. She awoke to find
that she had the power to transform matter. She joined up with
the All-Star Squadron and served with them through the war. At
the end of the war she was preparing to resume her career full-time
when she was contacted by unnamed men who persuaded her to continue
using her powers to help the US government, but in a more covert
way.
Powers/Weapons: She can transform matter without regard
to conservation of mass, and can transform living beings into
other life forms.
