Influences on my Faux DC work will be : Elmore Leonard, James Ellroy, Big Jim Thompson, Dashiell Hammett, Raymond Chandler, Matt Wagner, and classical mythology. I Hate the way today's comics have handled golden age characters because they see these characters as "throwaways" instead of pioneers. The first DC comic I read when I get home is : Who has time to read comics? And when I'm reading that comic I listen to : Who has time to listen to music? And when I ain't writtin' of readin' comics, I : work, work, work like a madman. But all of this is irrelevant 'cos : you don't agree with me, and therefore you are wrong.
