Faux DC Project : (former) New Gods
Faux DC Ambition: To write the biggest, longest, best stories Faux DC's ever seen! Also, keep myself to a bimonthly schedule (starting with issue #20 of New Gods, coming in February!).
Real World Ambition: Stumble into some sort of paying writing job.
Favorite DC Character: Captain Marvel, though Orion is an exceedingly close second and Zauriel is third.
Favorite Mid-Afternoon Snack: I'm usually not home at mid-afternoon, so I tend to go on out to the student lounge and get some Mountain Dew, a brownie, and some sort of candy bar (generally Payday or Whatchamacallit). At home, my favourite snack is Chex Mix, although I still prefer the old recipe.
My Origin in 20 words or less: I have enough trouble remembering yesterday, much less all the way back to my origin. However, I have been called "crazy" by Phil Jimenez. Take that as you will.
Influences on my Faux DC work will be Jack Kirby, Stan Lee, Paul Jenkins, and Grant Morrison.
I hate the way John Byrne has handled The Fourth World because not only did he make his trademark stupid retcons (my A-- Avia's not Scott Free's mother!), he also bastardized all these great cosmic concepts into something farcical, what with planets and characters merging together seemingly at random.
The first DC comic I read when I get home is usually Invisibles or Transmet.
And when I'm reading that comic I listen to I don't read comics whilst listening to music, but on the way to my store, I listen to the Jam's first album, "In The City".
And when I ain't writtin' or readin' comics, I : sleep!
But all of this is irrelevant 'cos I really should be writing.
