Subject: [faux-dc] So... what happened this summer?

This is my public apology to the FDC readers.

You probably noticed that after a lot of pledges of renewed vigor, FDC got reeeeal quiet after mid-May. Well life happened to all 3 members of our editorial staff simultaneously. My wife took seriously ill, and Ralph had the opportunity to start a new business. Dale... was very, very busy traveling to the third world and feeding hungry children and curing rare diseases along the way with the amazing power of his wonderful heart.
Seriously, Dale got busy with "real" life stuff too. It happens. But that it managed to happen to all three of us at the same time resulted in the site not being updated for a long while. The good news is despite the "Guardians" personal troubles, those industrious FDC writers kept churning out new material. So there's a big ol' update sitting on the site right now, just waiting to be read. And there's more to come! No really. I've got 3 more stories sitting in my inbox right now, and they'll be going up soon too. And
to prevent this from happening again, we Guardians recruited more help.

So in short, sorry for the interruption, we'll try not to let it happen again, and most importantly, THANK YOU for sticking with us. It means a lot.
