More comings and goings here at FDC. We've got a pair of writiers vying
for Mark Waid's title of writer who seems to be everywhere.
First we have Doc, who in addition to his current writing gig for us on
the Flash, and his impending
return with a new batch of Golden Age tales of Dr. Mid-nite in Adventure
Comics, will be taking over the writing chores of Michael
Stewart in the Legends of Aquaman, King of the Seven Seas. Doc's
first issue will be #5. But what about the dangeling plotline Michael
left behind at the close of #4? Don't worry, though real life has
conspired to keep Michael too busy for a monthly title, he promises
to finish up his "Universal Solvent" storyline as a supersized
annual, which reputedly is under production as we speak.
Secondly, Dale Glaser,
the guy who helped TJ Burns
turn Green Lantern from
one of our slowest posting titles into one of our longest running ones and
the fellow who writes his own completely original team book Bad
Blood, will be taking over Faux DC's premier team the Justice
League of America from Ralph
Angelo starting with issue #274. Dale gets the unenviable task of taking
the book into the post Cold Armageddon era, but we think he's up for the
challenge. (Oh yeah, and Dale also scripts a little mini series called Crisis
of Destiny over some other hack's
sad little plots, go check it out) .
