Adventure Comics is
changing, no make that evolving. As it was originally conceived by Doc, Adventure was going to chronicle the Golden Age
adverntures of the original Doctor Mid-Nite, taking a fresh look at the character's
early years much the way Sandman Mystery Theater did for Wesely Dodd. Well
through discussions held between Doc, FDC editorial, and the other wrters,
Adventure Comics is
becoming an anthology series for any Golden Age character. But
the basic concept is still the same, taking a look at the past through fresh
eyes. To that end WildCat scribe
Chuck Burke begins a three
issue run begining with Adventure
Comics #11 putting his own unique spin on the original Starman. After
that, who knows, maybe Doc will tell us another Dr. Mid-nite sotry, or maybe
someone else will pick up the banner. Any way you look at it, this already
great book just got better.
